Language is the medium by which a person
communicates his thoughts and feelings to another person. It is important to
have a language that everyone knows. English is now the most widely used
language in the world. It is most commonly spoken as second language. English
is in the Germanic group of language and West Germanic is considered to be the
ancestor of English. English was derived from the word “Englisc” which was the language of the “Angels” or the “Engle” during the Anglo-Saxon period.
